The Water Issue

                                                    

Some residents in Newcastle had a surprise Monday night when they turned on their taps and saw a muddy river of water flowing from their fixtures and this isn't the first time. The lack of information flowing from town hall is irresponsible and dangerous. This water could be potentially lethal for anyone with health issues. The fact that they have not officially warned residents of water quality issues is a cause for concern. Perhaps the provincial Health Minister should show some interest in this issue considering the potential for disaster.

The water quality issues will certainly be front and center in the 2010 civic election as well it should be.
